| baez-kun at 12:11 PM W-E-E-K-E-N-D-S I felt like screaming when the clock struck 4. It was windy and the cool breeze swept my weariness away as I stepped out of the hospital. Glory be to Allah, I have completed another strenuous and tiring week in pediatric rotation. 4 weeks done. 4 more weeks are on their way. It might kill but you could stay put if you work along with a bunch of cool people. Thanks to dear members of my group, I could somehow survive! On another bright side, I kinda enjoyed my on-call last night. Esra and I had to clerk new admitted patients, take a history, perform complete physical examination, observe the investigations and the cases are to be presented in the morning reports (the next day). The cases were common ones except the Glanzmann's Thromboesthenia ( I haven't seen one in my entire life). Some other admitted cases last night include the Henoch S Purpura (with distinctive features of abdominal pain, rashes, and arthralgia), Idiopathic T Purpura, Epilepsy, Gastroenteritis, UTI, fever etc. It went OK before the mother of this epileptic child fought off tears half-way through the clerking and I just stood still. ( hey I haven't yet mastered Arabic to soothe her down). BTW, presently I suffer from this common cold. It started 4 days ago with fever, headache, arthralgia, nasal obstruction and cough. My throat feels like well, being tickled by a feather or something as it itches like crazy and it hurts too. Strepsils are of unknown benefit ok, I've tried it. I have this weird feeling that if I keep on coughing, my lung will be coughed out of my chest muahaha. Lung collapse katanya. Next occasion, the homecoming of a bunch of 2nd-year students in three days time. I missed them very much (hey, are YOU, yes YOU going to once more misinterpret my sentence here?). This bunch of guys are supposed to start on their new academic year this coming Sunday, but one or two days off is somewhat OK la kot. Welkam home bro and sis. Lastly, marhaba bi ramadhan. Welcome! The month of countless blessings and virtues. A month in which the first ten days are of mercy, second ten days are of forgiveness and the last ten days are of being freed from Hell. May because of the fast, the sins of muslims are burnt into ashes. I wish you guys a happy ramadhan. Kullu Am Waentu Bikher. Alive again, hata irbid | baez-kun at 11:25 AM If a picture is worth a thousand words, how many pictures is a word worth? A picture is actually worth a thousand words. Therefore, instead of posting a normalna (ruski) entry at this juncture, here they are, some pictures that will tell the story themselves, snapped during ma ride to Cheras. Have u ever noticed the lorong tunai berlapis at Tol Sungai Buloh? It's actually a trap. Cars may pass the lorong tunai berlapis at a higher pace, but they will (again) be forced to stand in another jammed-packed line ahead. Padan. I will never get in the lorong tunai berlapis if I were to drive the car. Say no to porn by holding the alt + F4 keys down. I was like hello.. the keys are of a well-known purpose ie closing down any active tasks etc but the problem is vice vs virtue. The best man wins I suppose? One fine example of a polluted sungai. The stream was like grimy and mucky. The color was greenish and blackish and the smell was unbearable. By polluting sungais, we are actually polluting ourselves, ethically speaking. Boringnye topic sungai. I always hate it when I stumble upon jammed-packed roads. I will turn the radio volume up and shout lyke crazy (along with an O-looking opened-mouth, a banging head and a reddened face). People will not judge me. In fact they may think that I'm just too ecstasied to go with the music flow. This pic was snapped en-route to Seremban. The tol seremban was like 5 more kms ahead! Huwarghh I laughed out load upon seeing the laluan sikal signboard. I am actually yakin with my bahasa until the signboard proved that my bahasa is far from perfect (unlike the girl who was in the BM debate team + forum remaja). Hence this is my conclusion : laluan sikal is a laluan for motosikal? Hey, this is so unethical. Here, I was trying to squeeze my car in the lorong paling tepi and my car was nearly hit by the lorry. It was my fault tho hoho. A fren said that her younger brother yelled my name for like several times and she was kinda dumbfounded but she suddenly realized then that a Japanese Superhero Series : Masked Rider Faiz was on air at that time. LOL why faiz and not kitaro? Kororo is a better name I think~ Ora ashimoto womite goranu~ Post Script : I would like to welcome all freshies (ninah and frens) who had just arrived yesterday. Ahlan Wasahlan And Welcome to Jordan :). To those who are currently stranded in Bangkok (Ewan and Frens), no worries, we will always be here waiting for you. falling asleep hata irbid | baez-kun at 9:44 PM SOME POINTS TO PONDER SALAM, I'VE GOT HERE SOME IMPORTANT POINTS TO TELL YOU GUYS. IT IS SAID THAT I POSTED A NOTORIOUS, CONTROVERSIAL, AND CONTENTIOUS ENTRY NOT SO LONG AGO, IF YOU EVER NOTICED IT (LYK 2-3 WEEKS B4). HERE IS MY COUNSEL. PLEASE HAVE A GOOD LOOK AT YOURSELVES UPON THE SHINING MIRROR OF YOURS. PLEASE NOTE THAT BY SIMPLY MISJUDGING A PERSON, YOU'RE IN A VERY SERIOUS TROUBLE AGAINST THE FAMOUS "HUSNUZZHAN" AND THE POPULAR SAYING "DON'T JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER". I BELIEVED THAT I POSTED A VERY "CLEAN ENTRY". IT WAS A GOODBYE WISH ENTRY. MISINTERPRETATION MAY OCCUR (I DONT THINK SO) BUT THEN DO RATIONALLY THINK. WHY ARE YOU GUYS INTENTIONALLY BRINGING THE DARK SIDES TO CLOUD UP THE BRIGHT ONES? BE AN OPTIMIST, BE POSITIVE. I DONT MIND IF YOU GUYS LEAVE SOME COMMENTS DOWN HERE (SUPPORTIVE ONES OR VICE VERSA) BUT I'M WAY TOO SICK (AM ABOUT TO VOMIT) WITH THIS VERY TYPICAL MALAY DILEMMA. THEY TEND TO READ, MISJUDGE & MISINTERPRET, MAKE FICTIONS OUT OF IT, TELL OTHERS, AND THAT'S JUST A DISCOURTEOUS, INSOLENT AND OFFENSIVE ACT. WHY DONT YOU GUYS GIVE ME A CALL, (OR AT LEAST MAIL AND YM ME) SO THAT WE CAN HAVE A TALK. THAT'S A MORE CIVILIZED MANNER, AND I WONT BE MAD AT ALL. TRUST ME.AND MIND ME FOR SAYING THIS, I FASHIONED THIS VERY BLOG OF MINE IN MY VERY OWN WAY SO THAT I CAN SHARE THOUGHTS, IDEAS, AND PASSIONS WITH SOME VERY DEAR FRIENDS OF MINE WHO ARE ALWAYS STANDING JUST BESIDE ME SUPPORTIVELY. AND I THANK YOU GUYS FOR THE SUPPORTS ALL THESE DAYS. I WELCOME ANY OF YOU TO ROAM FREELY IN THIS BLOG. FEEL FREE TO DO SO AND BE MY GUESTS. BUT IF SOME OF YOU THINK THAT YOU DONT FEEL LIKE BROWSING THROUGH MY BLOG + IT'S MERELY A TRASH + DOESN'T LIVE UP TO EXPECTATION, I DON'T HAVE ANY SINGLE PROBLEM WITH THAT AND YOU'RE VERY WELCOMED TO HOLD THE ALT + F4 KEYS DOWN. AND OWH YES, THIS IS A POLITE GESTURE FROM ME BY THE WAY. AND MY APOLOGIES AS WELL , TO ERR IS HUMAN, TO FORGIVE IS DIVINE HAPPY BROWSING | baez-kun at 6:12 PM UNKNOWN TOPIC Baez is one healthy guy. Praise be to Allah, he has no chronic diseases (excluding asthma during his early childhood) as well as any hereditary ones. His immune system is doing a great job down there, putting an end to all those nasty intruders from outside. Baez may eat the breakfast like a pauper but still, he never leaves his stomach unfilled. Plus, he stands and walks around the hospital for like 5 hours per day, and that's a bonus. In spite of his healthy fascia, he actually suffers from this very common symptom of a disease which has spread all around the globe at an alarming rate. It's the writer's block. Sometimes you may feel that you've got like countless amounts of stories to share, and ideas begin to pour down your cerebral arteries, travel down the network of arteries and capillaries, making its way toward your very fingers (medically gibberish) and you will start tapping on the keyboard keys like crazy. On the other hand, one may sit like 2 hours on the computer chair until the gluteus started to become myalgic and there you are, staring blankly upon the computer screen with a slightly opened mouth (as in melopong). Not a single word would dare crossing the mind of yours. And that's me. It's like hello, 5 days are gone and so many interesting incidents did happen. But I just can't put the words in a perfect order. In fact, I have here several topics to begin with including:
1) incursion of the freshies : precautions and preparations 2) what baez sees and hears in the first week of pediatric rotation 3) nad and baez's bedroom : resemblances and divergences 4) the merdeka day celebration in MSD But lastly, I came up with this very entry - the unknown topic muahahaha. This is the writer's block syndrome. Well, no further investigation is needed and no medication is generally prescribed since it is a self-limiting disease. No worries. The mood will just strike back when the time comes~ p/s: Pls type ENTRYUNDI unknown picture, WTheck, a 2006 xp version? PFN (papai for now), | baez-kun at 11:28 PM Happy Merdeka Day : EDITED It's never too late to wish happy merdeka to dear Malaysians; after all, it's the merdeka spirit that counts. But a lot of Malaysians nowadays just don't have the merdeka spirit instilled in their inner heart. This is just like having a bouquet of water lily in your hand, lacking of the sweet smell although it looked nice. What baez is saying is that the teenagers just love the merdeka celebration, which is a good thing (at least it looked good) but actually, they just love the countdown thingy, the hanging-out-together party, the merdeka concerts etc. As soon as the sun rises up, one can go and witness a massive amount of trash ie cans, cigarettes butts, cans, bottles wrappers etc scattered everywhere on the ground. Is this what we call a merdeka day celebration after all? And here in p/s: Happy bufday mama, i love u so much, thanks for everything~ see the selamat menyambut kemerdekaan banner, tol sungai besi ![]() born in jordan but she loves Malaysia! She is so adorable (with the bendera malaysia muffler around her neck) Proud to be Malaysian | baez-kun at 12:46 AM |
