Chapter Finale : 2 roses and a thorn on a lifetime adventure
It was one fine day as I peered through the clouded windows. Another day of our journey would soon begin. Breakfasting like a king and 2 queens, we filled our tummies up to the max as it would be one unpredictable crossing. It was heavenly as we stepped out of the hotel. Birds were gleefully dancing in the midair. They flew hither and thither, chirping and twittering over and over again as if they were waving us adieu. The streets were empty with no cars racing side by side and we hit the road no sooner than finding Uludag, the Legendary Mount Olympus on the map.
The temperature dropped down as we climbed higher and luckily the car's heater performed an excellent job in maintaining the warmth inside. How long it would take to hit the highest point, we had gotten no idea. We kept on driving and the road was obviously becoming smaller but it didn't matter. The overwhelmingly breathtaking vista counterbalanced unenthusiastic sides of the jouney. The sun poked its hand through the clouds and the sunshine harmoniously blended in together with the autumn leaves, creating a lively and vibrant panorama. For like hundred of times we pulled the car to a stop so that we could enjoy these inspiring moments. I did wonder, when the leaves are gone, does the love disappear? (matila kasmon lol)
Snowfall in autumn is never impossible and as we ascended higher up, snows began to pile up on those autumn leaves and it was really cool. I had to stay on gear 1, 2 and rarely 3 as the road had become more slippery and slimy. One hour was gone but we hadn't still reached the destination. Sigh~ but talking of the devil, one enormous and gargantuan figure caught our eyes. As we drove closer it pompously loomed in front of us, showing off its striking white coat. The signboard showed like 1865 m and yeay, the legendary Mount Olympus had finally accepted us to be its blessed guests.
Clouds like pure white cotton balls dotted the brilliant sky and the air was crystal clear. I was at loss for words to describe the harmony of the riot of those fresh pine trees and pristine white snow on the top of the mountain. After like 30 minutes of sight-seeing, the wintry temperature viciously forced us to view the landscape from inside a cafe as our teeth clattered like crazy and our hands turned cyanotic. We were kinda reluctant to drive back to Istanbul but life goes on. Treasuring some stimulating final moments on the top of this renowned mountain, we headed down, heading back to Bursa and Istanbul. Again, maps were like our tourist guide, giving the light of directions LOL.
Bearing the full weight of the day's weariness on its shoulders, the sun descended the stairs slowly and left the stage, leaving us to bleak dark horizons as we reached Istanbul. We went for a night walk after the hotel check-in and here, the gorgeous Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia were like two shining jewels in a sacred garden, soaring up high into the night sky. We had our dinner in a bistro nearby and it was then the time to have one last peaceful night sleep in Istanbul. Enjoying the last sight of Hagia Sophia through the wooden panel of my room, I slowly drifted to the far far away dreamland.
The Bosphorus Strait never looked more stunning than it was today, the last day of ours in Istanbul. We drove off to the beach near the Dolmabache Palace and there were like moments of soul-soothing tranquility. Later that afternoon, we took a ride to Ataturk International Airport after having the last lunch in one of the sultanehmet restaurants. And like every beautiful thing, even my adventure in Turkey had come to an end. My stay here was like a reverie and leaving was awfully difficult. I started up the stairs to the Turkish Airlines hoping that I could once again say hi to the Blue Mosque some times in the future. Turkey is definitely glorious and there is something for everybody here...

I'm still breathin..
The atmosphere has suddenly become tense and I have unexpectedly turned into an edgy and jittery guy these past few weeks. My Obs and Gyne rotation has almost reached its end which means that the OSCE Exam will take place in no time. I haven't yet started revising the whole 8-week materials ( one whole book of Obs and Gyne, 400++ pages) but that's part of a medical student's life. A flying color banner will soar high up into the sky of victory if they are keen to put up fights and challenges against the calamity and catastrophe of the medical world. And I'm about to begin my first fight and it's part of my plan. It's the vacation. Well, goin on a vacation is divine after weeks of strenuous and tiring life in
I've been waiting for this very day from the day I heard the plan that my family will be traveling to
1) Board on the flight at 430 am
Honestly, I would say that vacation is just lyk the surfactant released by pneumocytes type two; it reduces the surface tension of the alveoli and the lungs will somehow work more efficiently. The same thing applies here where vacation soothes your uptight feelings down and it clears up any cloudy days you've been experiencing lately. As many of the illnesses are nowadays related to the interaction between stress, environments, and the way of life, I wonder if the medical doctors could somehow try to prescribe vacations instead of medications. LOL.
Some of you guys may wonder what exactly happened to my previous blog URL, it was a quite complicated issue but I can simply say that someone (this hot papai guy) has taken up my dearly loved URL (hata05) and I could no more host my blog there. Well on one side, it'd be fun, changing URLs as if we are kinda movin to a better life and place but partly, i'm damn thwarted and frustrated. Well, I've been usin the hata05 since the first day I stepped into this blogosphere plus it has been my screen name since lyk 6 yrs ago. But somehow I'll manage to cherish the sweet memory deep down my treasure box and go on wif my life. LOL.
Till we meet again guys, am gonna miss u tho u may miss me not LOL
p/s : my warmest wishes to my darlings and dears, do well in the non-stop exams and make me one proud bro :)

He never experienced anything wow-er than that. He never had air passing through his nose because he had been all along in the secure womb of his mother's, breathing in and out through the thickset umbilical cord and placenta. Hence when he first gulped the very first air into his lungs, he cried out loud and that was just wonderful. After all, he was a healthy baby delivered safely through a caesarian section performed on his mother. Although the uterine wall and the muscles surrounding were tensed and fibrosed due to two previous cesarean sections before, the operation went well and I am one lucky guy to witness the birth of another new life into thisworld. I went out of the operation theatre then, changed my surgical robe and smiled all the way back home. Another week of O&G done, 6 more weeks to go.
Anyhow it had been one hectic week for me. The morning reports started at 8 (in which I had to depart off my home by 7 am) and we had to either stay in the labor room or the operation theaters or the wards or the clinics till 1200 pm. Seminar will follow later on at 1230 and at 200, I had to stand again all through the rest of the day and I almost cried when my back ached like crazy. I could bear a whole-day lecture by sitting and listening to the lectures but when it came to standing like for hours, that's my weak point. But one good news is yeay, Esra and I had successfully delivered our seminars and it was all about pelvic masses. It was quite a huge topic but our main concerns were on fibroids and ovarian masses, and a little bit on the categorization of gynecological and non-gynecological causes of pelvic masses. Feel free to download a copy of the seminar (mine on fibroid) by clicking on this link.
All work and no play make hata a dull guy. Hence as an incentive, hata along with budak busuk tapi sanggup baring sebelah lambang mesra, budak baru cukur rambut botak jadi amat comel, budak sangat penakut sampai tak jadi masuk tandas dan nampak mata kelip2, tuan punye bilik speaker agak basic tapi menonjol, budak sampai lambat tapi beriya menjerit and etc participated in the 3-day movie marathon during the 3-day weekend holiday with a creative designated motto : more horror and more delusions build up more love and more confidence. Here's the list :
1) The Omen
2) One Missed Call (Japanese)
3) Silent Hill
4) The Sisters (Thai)
5) Ju On 2 (Japanese)
6) Scary Movie 4
Nevertheless, it's time to move on. I have to begin cleaning and clearing up my room and get prepared for another week of frenzied classes, rounds and seminars. I should put a stop to the keberpoya2an till next weekend huhu. That's life...
I was like wow upon seeing the download rate when I clicked on the button for BLEACH downloading. It was like 15mb/sec, and the 50MB file was downloaded in no time

Hence, this very video is specially dedicated to dear friends, and thank you for the beautiful friendship all these days.

THE MORE WE GET TOGETHER THE MERRIER IT'LL BE
Another long gap with no new updates hehe, my apologies. Thanks to the hectic life of my final year in
Obstetric and Gynecology Rotation
BTW I'm now practicing my clinical skills in the Obstetric and Gynecology Department. Trying my best to be an excellent obstetrician and gynecologist in thin 8-week rotation, I've never skipped any morning reports and rounds in this first week, which is extremely stupendous muahaha. Some say that O&G is quite attention-grabbing, yet among all 4 majors (surgery, pediatrics, O&G and internal medicine), O&G is at my bottom list huhu. When it comes to O&G, the cerebral artery of mine would somehow become obstructed, leaving my brain hypoinformatic, a benign condition which can be diagnosed by a very obvious sign i.e. failures to answer doc's questions in clinical rounds.
Last hari raya in
Owh dear, I felt like nannesing on the first day of my last hari raya in jordan, well, it's not like that I missed Malaysia that much, but the feeling of leaving Jordan for good in a few months time overwhelmed my body, leaving myself sorrowfully petrified for like several minutes.
